Fun FOOT Fact: THE AFTERNOON is the optimum time to shop for shoes because the feet tend to be MORE SWOLLEN then.

Physical therapy can be an effective modality when used in conjunction with other modalities such as foot and ankle strapping(see video), night splints, orthotic therapy or a removable walking cast used for immobilization. Forms of Physical therapy that we use in our office are electrical stimulation and ultrasound. Stretching also may be used at the descretion of a physician. Laser therapy is gaining more popularity by both physicians and patients and showing great promise. We are looking into this type of in office therapy and excited to offer it to our patients who suffer from acute heel spur syndrome/plantar fasciitis(see video).
