Taub Podiatry is honored to introduce the newest physician to their practice and their community, Dr. Vahe Matnishian.
Dr. Matnishian comes to the Treasure Coast from the San Antonio area where as a podiatric surgeon, he specialized in lower extremity surgeries that included: sports related injuries, fracture reconstructions, Charcot reconstructions, as well as hammertoe and bunion procedures to name a few.
Born in Armenia, Dr. Matnishian came to the United States at an early age and spent most of his life in the Los Angeles area. He received his undergraduate degree from California State University Northridge in the field of Psychology. From there he moved to Des Moines, IA to attend Des Moines University where he received both his Masters Degree in Biomedical Science and Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery. He then left the midwest for the bright lights of New York where he completed his surgical residency at HealthAlliance Hudson Valley.
In his downtime, Dr. Matnishian is an accomplished multi-instrument musician. He has worked as a session musician, and played in many bands. His musical focus now is writing and recording original music in the genre of rock and roll and blues.
Dr. Matnishian is happily married to his wife Mallory, whom he met in Des Moines. They both are the proud parents of their lovely daughter Lola, and also their fur babies - two dogs and one cat. We welcome Dr. Matnishian, Mallory and Lola to our beautiful slice of paradise here in Southeast Florida and we look forward to introducing Dr. Matnishian to all of our wonderful patients.
